My Girls Departed Yesterday – Saturday 20th November 2021.

After spending 4 weeks attending school from their Grandparents home, I’ve dropped my girls off back home @ approximately 2.45p.m.

Some hours earlier, Grandma had given them gifts, as well as hugs and kisses before leaving for a Doctor’s appointment.

Before I left in the hired taxi, I took a photo with them, their little brother and his older cousin/pal. The boys came out to say hello after seeing the girls come in with their bags, and cartons of biscuits, noodles, crate of eggs, big loaf of bread etc.

Their faces in the photos say a lot. We had so much fun and they got to learn quite a lot from me – as we bonded. Both girls continue doing well in academic and vocational skills learning.

Especially noteworthy is the fact that the older girl, did their Junior Secondary School proud by beating Senior Secondary Students to win 2nd Runner Up position, in the Senior Category of the Ojodu LCDA Spelling Bee competition held on Tuesday 26th October 2021.

This earned her a medal and several prizes. As you can imagine, yours truly, as well as her retired Schoolteacher Grandma were very proud of her!
