“The way people are embraced in Nigeria despite the fact they display a total lack of integrity is mind-boggling to me. This young lady played all of us and I think she’s not going to be the first one that’s done it.
I think several of the stories that we’ve seen before, we’re actually staged. It’s just that maybe they were not as obvious as this one.
I think NOW Nigerians need to be wary, because the power of the Social Media platform is great – and when we give this kind of exposure to people of questionable character of this nature, people who have such questionable morals and values, then we’re putting up role models of success to our younger ones that are inappropriate.
And I think that’s a shame. Hopefully, we’ll all realize this and begin to exercise caution. I think we need to become more skeptical about what we believe on Social Media.

In Nigeria we manipulate almost EVERYTHING – including talent recruitment processes. As a result we often produce celebrities who lack character and integrity.
We are mis-educating the youths!!!
As a result, warped values and morals are increasingly being manifested amongst our young people, often with active support from misguided adults.
Nothing you see in Nigeria these days is real anymore, with the politicians and the citizens.
The revelations about this young lady (Salle)’s introduction to the world, via her first video – and information she posted on her Twitter page about being contacted by famous people from abroad – are both shocking and scary.
If a 17 year old young girl can conceive of, and/or accept to act with such cunning intent, then WE, as adults in today’s Nigeria need to know that we have failed her!!
(NB: Reports say her age is also a lie – and that she’s older than that!)
This is NOT what you call a “Publicity Stunt”. This is a campaign of dishonesty!!!
