This video demonstration of a Work-In-Progress version of the Yearly Poultry Farm Manager (PFM) Excel-VB driven app was recorded in late June 2020 during the early period of the COVID-19 Pandemic Lockdown.
The YPFM is designed to be an advanced or “Superior” alternative to the Monthly PFM, which is a more “Basic” application.
Farm Owners will be able to choose to buy either of them – depending on their preferences and budgets.
I am keen to bring as many of my existing Farm CEO Client users of the MPFM on board the forthcoming BETA EVALUATION test drive exercise, so they can take advantage of the low entry price being offered to own a copy of the New YPFM.
It’s my own way of appreciating and rewarding them for giving me a chance with my MPFM by taking a leap of faith to buy it from me over the years.

I sent the video demonstration you just watched to some clients who’d purchased the Monthly PFM, but who I recalled had indicated interest in “investing” in having me build the Yearly PFM.
The challenge I’d had at the time was limited free time to really give the needed focus to do the spreadsheet design overhaul as well as related Excel-VB coding modification.
But when the lockdown happened, I decided to go ahead. What you see in the video were highlights of the key progress I’d made as at that time. I decided to send the video to the other Farm CEOs to get them on board, so they could participate in the process.

As I noted in the audio message that’s been appended to the end (jump to the 4 minute mark), back then I’d just finished the tedious and challenging task of extending the Farm Operations data entry tables to cater for ONE year (12 month)’s worth of data – as against the 30 days/1 Month of data entries that the monthly PFM could handle.
Next to do was updating of the different reports to auto generate based on daily, monthly and yearly data.
Since then, – using feedback from users of the Monthly PFM to visualize likely needs – I’ve extended the app even further to cater for the duration of the lifecycle of an entire batch of birds i.e. starting from Day Old, till they are Culled.
That way the YPFM allows you to handle ALL data for every production cycle conveniently IN ONE place. And after you’re done with that batch, you’ll simply zero the app and initialize with data for the new batch of birds you introduce.
Compared to the Monthly PFM which requires handling data for each month in a separate copy, and without the benefit of simultaneous access to consecutive monthly data for trending and analysis, this YPFM not only makes life easier, but it also allows you the opportunity to gain more accurate insights for timely and accurate decision making to move your farm business forward.
I will NOT be posting a public video demonstration of the final interfaces in the completed YPFM once it launches. That will only be available on a private basis to selected Farm CEOs who meet the requirements I will specify once the BETA EVALUATION USE exercise ends.
