“When we talk about respect, let’s be clear. If you want to command respect, then act with integrity in all your dealings, and people around you will know you for that.

The only people that will have a problem with you are the people that do not like intgrity. That do not like to be honest. Then we will all know them for what they are.

Make up your mind where you want to stand. But stop talking about respect as if it’s something that is your birthright. It’s not your birthright.

And it’s not your right  because you have grey hair on your head. If you’re “Agbaya” (irresponsible adult) you cannot be respected. It’s a simple thing.

Respect is not your private property that you can insist on.”
