VIDEO TRANSCRIPT EXCERPT PREVIEW…
After starting his career in Washington DC in 2015, Seyi gave up everything to return to his parents’ land in South West Nigeria.
The 34 year old engineer traded his Suit and Tie for Jeans and Cap – to grow Cassava, a popular food in Nigeria.
Today he runs a 400 hectare farm with some 30 employees.
“Everytime I start interacting with people when I (grow) agriculture, I learn so much that I didn’t have a clue about. And that’s exciting. I think if I had a job in the US, and there’s some comforts to it, I’m just showing up to work and trying to execute a task.” – Seyi Oyenuga, Farmer
