If you own a website, there is a very good chance you’ve received at least one email from Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Service Providers. offering to help you get your website to appear on the first page of Google Search Engine Results (SER), Some even promise to make you appear at the Number One spot on the SER Page (or SERP) for the keywords relevant to your brand.
But can they really do all THAT? And even if they can, do you really need all THAT to sell successfully using your website?
I’ve lost count of those I’ve personally received for my websites, talk less of those I’ve received for websites I manage for my Web Marketing clients.
The views I express in this report are based on my wide ranging experiences as a Multidisciplinary website owner, who has sold custom products and services 100% online for over a decade, to buyers in and out of Africa.
What follows below is a verbatim reproduction of the full text of a reply I wrote on 5th November 2012 in response to an offer from an SEO Service Provider – which I decided to share with readers on my blog.
